Frog Pond on Boston Common
In the warmer months
Frog Pond is a huge wading pool, complete with a water fountain in
its center. But in November, it's transformed into a giant outdoor
rink with a 16,000-square-foot ice-skating surface. |

New England Aquarium
Kids and grownups alike will get a
kick out of spying on exotic sea-dwellers. Within its compact
exhibit space, the aquarium shows off everything from a 500-pound
sea turtle to a ghostly swirl of jellyfish just inside the front
entrance. |

Boston Duck Tours
The "duck," which holds
32 passengers, travels through historic sites in Back Bay, Beacon
Hill, downtown Boston and the North End. The big splashdown is in
the Charles River, where passengers are encouraged to quack as they
embark on a 30-minute cruise.
