The Course:
A spiffy Brian Silva layout, the course has many solid
seasons of healthy, smooth-rolling greens in the record
books. In other words, the crop failure of 1994 is a distant
memory. You're free to fire those laser 6-irons right at
each pin position.
The Experience:
On the course,
take a run at the long, par-5 15th, where a deceiving creek
in front of the green messes with your club selection on the
third shot. Behind the green is a natural amphitheater where
golfers who birdie the hole can imagine a cheering throng.
The signature hole, however, is the par-3, 210-yard third
hole. The beautiful hole plays downhill to a green swathed
in bunkers and protected by water in front. The views from
the tee are wonderful, especially in October. |
